This was an open air market on the south side of Beersheva (Beersheba).  There were about 100,000 people in Beersheva.  Numerous Russian immigrants moved into the area. Apples, oranges, bananas, strawberries, bell peppers, tomatoes, and more were in stock during mid-March.  The city's use of ground water has been lowering the local water table.

A popular place to eat in Beersheva on a quiet Thursday night.
